For Sri Lanka, Praveen Manisha was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets for 30 runs in 9 overs. Newthon Ranjithkumar, Mathulan Kugathas, and Vihas Thiyomika each claimed 2 wickets.
Earlier, after losing the toss and being sent to bat, Sri Lanka scored 233 runs in 50 overs, losing all their wickets. Sarujan Sanmuganathan top-scored with 62 runs, while Lakwin Abeysinghe contributed 50 runs, and Kavija Gamaga added 37 runs.
